The new super-snapper flagship LG GC990 Louvre has unveiled, but its final name may be different. Sporting a masterpiece 12MP autofocus camera and HD video recording, LG GC990 Louvre was showcased at a Korea Products Exhibition held in Warsaw, Poland yesterday, as a concept to announce the type of technology that LG is working on.
The device comes complete with a new feature dubbed Intellizoom. Other camera stuff include ISO up to 3200, camera images geo-tagging and zero shutter lag, which presumably means images will be taken as fast as with a dedicated digital camera.
Except for the built-in camera, with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, and HD video clips (1280 x 720 pixels) at 30 fps, the cellphone has nothing else going on for it since it is only a concept for now. If nothing changes between now and when/if the “Louvre” ships, you will get the latest S-Class Touch 3D UI, a 3.2 inch 16M colors touchscreen display, WiFi with DLNA, TV out, GPS receiver with A-GPS support, Bluetooth as well as the ability to play DivX and XviD files.
In an official statement that LG gave to DoubleDT.Com, who brought the world the first snapshots and specifications of the Louvre, the Korean cellphone maker would like to remind you, again, that this is a concept (dumbphone). The Louvre from LG is a great example of the type of mobile technology innovation LG is developing. There is no word of the LG Louvre availability and pricing yet, but stay tuned as we expect to more information to be available soon.
