Perhaps, the Vertu Boucheron 150 is one of the world’s hottest cell phones and Vertu’s most gorgeous ever made handset. This phone has been designed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Boucheron French jewelry house.

Vertu, the luxury cell phone manufacturer, has teamed up with French jewelry house Boucheron to create the Vertu Boucheron 150. Prepared in celebration of French jewelry house Boucheron’s 15th anniversary, the cell phone is crafted from individual solid gold ingots taking over 1000 man hours to cut to shape, with over 700 man hours of hand polishing followed by 500 hours of hand building.

In addition, the concave sapphire crystal keypad is intricately designed with 400 points, providing the toughest of challenges for the most skilled of artisans. The constantly changing angled surfaces allow a cut stone appearance, inspired by the clearly faceted stones that are part of Boucheron’s core craft.

According to Frank Nuovo, Vertu Principal Designer, the essence of the single edition Vertu Boucheron 150 was to create something unique with signals of both brands. Although some of Vertu’s handsets have looked nice, but their features and the weight have let them down.

DoubleDT.Com does not know how significantly high the price of this strange looking phone, but it probably goes over $30,000. Some talk about one million British Pounds.
